Our Story

He built Trellis around a simple idea: that families deserve a bespoke approach to their wealth. Trellis is small enough for us to get to know each of our clients personally. It’s nimble enough that we’re able to offer guidance tailored to each one’s unique situation.

We work with families wherever they are, often literally. Thomas regularly travels across the country to meet clients in their own homes, a simple courtesy that opens up a deeper level of understanding. Many of the families we serve are multigenerational, including widows and women managing wealth transfer on their own. We also work with a growing number of younger entrepreneurs in a variety of industries.

Whatever their background, we help our clients navigate the complexities that come with significant wealth, including estate and wealth transfer planning, tax strategy, philanthropic legacy, and the challenge of preparing the next generation to carry it all forward. What we can’t do alone, we bring in through a wider network of specialists, enabling us to provide families with comprehensive support built around personal attention.
